MLA Lasya Nanditha, 37, Dies in Hyderabad Car Accident; CM Condoles

The accident happened when the SUV she was in went out of control and hit a divider on the Outer Ring Road in Patancheru, Sangareddy district.

The driver of the SUV, a Maruti XL6, was seriously injured and taken to a nearby private hospital in Patancheru.

Lasya Nanditha was elected as an MLA for the first time from the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency in the 2023 Telangana Assembly election.

This wasn't the first tragedy in the family. Lasya Nanditha's father, G Sayanna, who was a five-time MLA from Secunderabad constituency, passed away on February 19, 2023, due to illness.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed his shock and offered condolences on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on the untimely demise of Lasya Nanditha.
